The waiting room only had three or four other patients, so I didn&#8217;t feel too guilty about seeking this emergency second opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully I didn&#8217;t need the nasty lumbar puncture. But it turns out I do have a high <span class=\"minusOne\">lymphocyte percentage, meaning I&#8217;ve got a viral infection that will eventually burn itself out naturally.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"minusOne\">She sent me on my way with a pill for the nausea and an injection up my bottom for the pain.
