Wisdom learned from club night promotion: the host can never quite enjoy the party.<\/p>\n

I’m doing Against Nature one more time on Tuesday Sept 7th, then taking a break in order to find out what I want to do next.<\/p>\n

AGAINST NATURE
\nTUESDAY SEPTEMBER 7TH 2010<\/p>\n

A night for dressed-up dandies and vintage vamps. DJs provide a rococo mix of easy listening, showtunes and exotic pop, punctuated by silent movies, eccentric bands and unconventional cabaret.<\/p>\n

SCALES OF THE UNEXPECTED
\nVocal harmony comedy group who cram the back catalogues of Madonna, Abba and others into inspired and hilarious medleys.<\/p>\n

KIKI KABOOM
\nInventive and irreverent burlesque performer. Winner of Best Newcomer 2009 at the London Burlesque Festival.<\/p>\n

ROSE WATT
\nObsessive compulsive wit armed with ukelele and cupcakes.<\/p>\n

THE SOFT CLOSE-UPS
\nWry pastoral songsmithery courtesy David Shah and Aug Stone<\/p>\n

Plus DJ & host Dickon Edwards.<\/p>\n

Doors 8pm.
\nLive acts 9.30pm-11.30pm.
\nDancing to 1am.<\/p>\n

Door charge: \u00a35 before 10pm. \u00a36 after.<\/p>\n
